Hi Auntie Margie, YOur watercolors are beautiful. Roro obviously passed the torch to you. Stephanie is also interested and talented in art and has done some beautiful work. You will have to share notes at some time.
Dear Margie, This is the second time I've written this comment. I signed up for blogline and now they say I need to sign up for Google which I did, so here goes again. I love the cottage on the beach. I go to a beach called Crystal Cove in Corona DelMar near Newport Beach. It's a secluded place with old cottages. It relaxes my mind. That's how I felt when I saw your painting. It's wonderful. Love, Bev
Art has always been a part of my life. I paint in oil, watercolor and pastel, and I have studied with many Cape Cod artists. My still life watercolors are the result of studying the play of light, shadows and reflections on the flowers and vases in the composition. When painting en plein air, I try to capture the spirit and magic of the wonderful light we have on the Cape. It brings me great joy to see the finished painting.
I am a breast cancer survivor and believe in living each day in the moment. A portion of my painting profits goes to breast cancer research.
